Description
Triethylamine (TEA, (C₂H₅)₃N) LR grade. A tertiary amine base used as a base catalyst and acid scavenger in organic synthesis, as a mobile phase additive in reversed-phase HPLC to suppress tailing of basic analytes, and in preparation of triethylammonium acetate (TEAA) buffers for ion-pair chromatography. Strong amine odour; handle in a fume cupboard. LR grade is suitable for synthetic and preparative applications.
