Description
Toluene (methylbenzene, C6H5CH3) AR grade. Used as a solvent in Soxhlet extraction of oils, fats, and waxes, as a mobile phase component in normal-phase HPLC, and as a reaction solvent in organic synthesis. Also used as a reference standard in octane number calibration and UV spectrophotometry. AR grade ensures low thiophene and low non-volatile residue content. Flammable — store and use away from ignition sources.
