Description
Tin(IV) chloride pentahydrate (SnCl₄·5H₂O, stannic chloride) LR grade. A Lewis acid used as a catalyst in Friedel-Crafts reactions and other acid-catalysed organic syntheses, in preparation of tin(IV) oxide thin films by hydrolysis, and as a tin source in analytical standard preparation. LR grade is suitable for preparative synthetic and research applications.
