Description
Sulphuric acid concentrated (H₂SO₄, 98%) AR grade, supplied in glass bottle. Used as the acid medium in permanganate and dichromate oxidimetric titrations, in Kjeldahl nitrogen digestion, and in acid digestion for trace metal analysis. Glass packaging is preferred where plastic extractables must be avoided. AR grade ensures very low heavy metal, chloride, and nitrate content. Extremely corrosive — always add acid to water; handle with full face protection in a fume cupboard.
