Description
Sulphuric acid concentrated (H₂SO₄, 98%) AR grade. Used as the acid medium in permanganate and dichromate oxidimetric titrations, in Kjeldahl nitrogen digestion, in acid digestion of samples for trace metal analysis, and as a desiccant. AR grade ensures very low heavy metal, chloride, and nitrate content. Extremely corrosive — always add acid to water; handle with full face protection in a fume cupboard.
