Sucrose (C12H22O11) AR grade. UNIVAR is Ajax's AR-equivalent brand. Used as a sucrose cushion medium for organelle isolation, as a substrate for sucrase activity assays, and as an osmoprotectant in cell and tissue culture media. Also used as a refractometry calibration standard. AR grade ensures very low reducing sugar and heavy metal content for biochemical and analytical applications.
