Used as the indicator in iodometric titrations (forming a deep blue-black complex with iodine), in preparation of starch-iodide test paper for oxidant detection, and as an amylase substrate in enzyme assays. The 500 g size suits high-throughput titrimetric laboratories. AR grade ensures reliable end-point sensitivity and low interfering substances.
