Description
Starch indicator solution (Vitex) LR grade, prepared from soluble starch. Forms an intense blue-black complex with free iodine and triiodide, providing a sharp visual endpoint in iodometric and iodimetric titrations, including determination of dissolved chlorine, dissolved oxygen (Winkler method), ascorbic acid, and thiosulfate. LR grade is suitable for routine titrimetric analysis.
