Sodium peroxide (Na₂O₂) AR grade. A strong oxidising fusion flux used in alkaline peroxide fusion (Eschka-type) of refractory samples — coal, ores, ceramics — prior to dissolution for trace element analysis by AAS and ICP. Also used as an oxygen source in organic elemental analysis. AR grade ensures reliable peroxide content. Reacts vigorously with moisture — handle under dry conditions with full PPE.
