Description
Sodium borohydride (NaBH₄) LR grade. A mild selective reducing agent used to reduce aldehydes and ketones to primary and secondary alcohols, and in hydride generation AAS (HG-AAS) for determination of hydride-forming elements (arsenic, selenium, antimony, mercury). Also used in dye reduction and selective functional group transformations. LR grade is suitable for preparative synthetic and HG-AAS analytical applications. Reacts with water under acidic conditions — handle under dry conditions with appropriate care.
