Description
Sodium acetate anhydrous (CH3COONa) AR grade. Used in preparation of acetate buffer solutions (pH 3.6–5.6), in Kjeldahl nitrogen analysis, as a complexing buffer component in EDTA hardness titrations, and as a precipitating agent for rare earth elements. The anhydrous form is preferred where accurate weighing is required. AR grade ensures low heavy metal and chloride content.
