Potassium permanganate solution 1.0N (0.2M) is a strong oxidising titrant used in redox titrimetry for the determination of iron(II), oxalate, hydrogen peroxide, and reducing sugars. The deep purple solution self-indicates — turning colourless to a faint persistent pink at the endpoint — eliminating the need for an external indicator. Ready-to-use standardised solution, supplied in 500 mL.
