Description
Description
Pectin from citrus peel is a naturally derived heteropolysaccharide extracted from citrus peel, composed primarily of partially methyl-esterified polygalacturonic acid chains. Used in rheological studies of gel formation, as a reference material in carbohydrate analysis by HPLC and colorimetric methods, and in food-matrix standard preparation for analytical method validation. Typically has a higher degree of esterification than apple pectin.
Science Essentials has supplied quality laboratory equipment and consumables to Australian laboratories since 1979. Brisbane-based with Australia-wide delivery.
