Description
Paraffin wax in pastille form, melting point 56–58°C. Used in histological tissue processing for paraffin embedding of biological specimens prior to microtome sectioning, as a sealant for culture plates and vials, and in general laboratory casting and sealing applications. Pastille format allows convenient, accurately weighed additions. Melting point 56–58°C is the standard specification for histological embedding wax.
