Description

Whatman No. 2 qualitative filter paper offers slightly finer particle retention than No. 1 (8µm nominal), with a correspondingly lower flow rate. Used when the standard No. 1 grade passes too fine a precipitate. Suited to general qualitative filtration, soil analysis, food testing, and routine analytical chemistry requiring a step up in retention from the standard grade.
