Ocimene (C₁₀H₁₆) is a mixture of acyclic monoterpene isomers (alpha- and beta-ocimene) found in the essential oils of many aromatic plants. Used as a reference standard in GC analysis of essential oils and aroma chemicals, in fragrance and flavour research, and as a starting material for terpenoid synthesis. ≥90% purity is suitable for research-grade analytical and synthetic applications.
