Description
N,N-Dimethylformamide (DMF, HCON(CH₃)₂) AR grade. A high-boiling polar aprotic solvent used in peptide synthesis, polymer processing, and as a reaction solvent for nucleophilic substitutions and Heck reactions. Also used as a mobile phase modifier in reverse-phase HPLC. AR grade ensures low water and amine content for sensitive reactions. Suspected reproductive toxin; handle in a fume hood with appropriate PPE.
