n-Hexane (C₆H₁₄, ≥95%) AR grade in plastic bottle. Used as a non-polar extraction solvent for oils and fats, as a mobile phase component in normal-phase HPLC, and as a solvent for GC sample preparation. The plastic bottle format is convenient for bench use. AR grade ensures low benzene content and low non-volatile residue for analytical use. Highly flammable; use in a fume cupboard.
