Description
The CEM CEMLS-SD is a small-chamber Australian-made muffle furnace with a maximum temperature of 1200°C and a lift-up safety door in a compact benchtop footprint. The safety door is held closed by self-tensioning springs, opens with a slight upward pull, and keeps the hot door face directed away from the operator when open — reducing burn risk during sample handling. A safety cut-off disables heating when the door is opened during operation. Stainless steel double-skinned construction with ceramic fibre insulation for efficient thermal cycling and external heat protection. Electric elements with rear vent port for natural venting or gas purging. Optional programmable controllers, timers, and cable access ports.
