Description
Molecular sieve type 4A (aluminosilicate zeolite, pore diameter 4 Angstrom) in bead form, 4-8 mesh. Used for drying and purification of solvents and reagents by selective adsorption of water molecules — effective for drying methanol, ethanol, DMF, THF, and other polar solvents. Bead form allows easy packing in drying columns and tubes. Regenerated by heating at 250-350°C under vacuum or inert atmosphere.
