Methyl ethyl ketone (MEK, butanone, CH₃COC₂H₅) AR grade. A fast-evaporating ketone solvent used in surface coating and adhesive formulations, in solvent extraction of analytes from complex matrices, and as a mobile phase modifier in normal-phase HPLC. Also used as a reference standard in ketone analysis by GC. AR grade ensures low water content and non-volatile residue. Highly flammable.
