Description
Methyl blue (Cotton blue, C.I. 42780) LR grade. An anionic triarylmethane dye used as a blue stain for collagen fibres in Masson's trichrome and Mallory's connective tissue staining protocols, as a general histological counterstain, and as a dye standard in colorimetric method development. LR grade is suitable for histological staining and general laboratory applications.
