Description
Methanol (methyl alcohol, CH₃OH) AR grade in glass bottle. Used as an HPLC mobile phase component, in UV-visible spectrophotometry, as a reaction solvent, and in preparation of methanolic reagent solutions. Glass packaging is preferred for long-term storage and UV-sensitive analytical applications where plastic-derived impurities must be avoided. AR grade ensures low water content and low carbonyl compound levels. Highly toxic; use in a fume cupboard.
