Description
Methanol (methyl alcohol, CH3OH) AR grade in glass bottle. Used as an HPLC mobile phase component, in UV-visible spectrophotometry, as a reaction solvent, and in preparation of methanolic reagent solutions. Glass packaging is preferred for long-term storage and UV-sensitive analytical applications. AR grade ensures low water, low carbonyl compound content, and low UV absorbance. Highly toxic — use in a fume cupboard.
