Description
MES (2-(N-morpholino)ethanesulphonic acid) AR grade. A zwitterionic Good's buffer with effective pH range 5.5–6.7, used in enzyme assays, protein crystallisation, cell culture, and electrophoresis where bicarbonate-free, metal-compatible buffering at mildly acidic pH is required. Low metal-binding capacity minimises interference in metalloenzyme studies. AR grade ensures low heavy metal content for sensitive biochemical applications.
