Lithium tri-sec-butylborohydride (L-Selectride) 1 M solution in THF, supplied in AcroSeal packaging. A sterically hindered, highly selective hydride reducing agent used in stereoselective reduction of ketones to secondary alcohols, and in reduction of hindered esters and epoxides in organic synthesis. AcroSeal packaging maintains anhydrous, air-free conditions for reliable reactivity. Store and use under inert atmosphere.
