Description
Lead(II) iodide (PbI₂) LR grade. A bright yellow solid used in qualitative analysis demonstrations for the detection of lead or iodide ions by precipitation, and in preparation of lead halide perovskite precursors for solar cell and optoelectronics research. Also used in photochemistry studies of lead halide materials. Lead compounds are highly toxic; handle with appropriate precautions. LR grade is suitable for educational and research applications.
