Description
Lead(II) acetate trihydrate (Pb(CH₃COO)₂·3H₂O, sugar of lead) AR grade. Used in preparation of lead acetate test paper for hydrogen sulfide detection, in qualitative analysis for sulfide ions, and as a precipitating agent for sulfate removal in sample preparation prior to titrimetric analysis. AR grade ensures low heavy metal impurities. Lead compounds are highly toxic — handle with appropriate precautions.
