Used as an electrode material in electrochemistry experiments and lead-acid battery research, as a radiation shielding material in laboratory X-ray applications, and for dissolution in dilute acid for preparation of lead AAS calibration standards. AR grade ensures high metal purity. Lead is highly toxic — handle with appropriate precautions.
