Description
Macherey-Nagel lead acetate test paper for the rapid qualitative detection of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) gas. Paper impregnated with lead acetate produces a characteristic brown-to-black discolouration on contact with H2S, forming lead sulfide (PbS). Used in food testing, wastewater analysis, soil gas assessment, and gas line leak detection. Supplied as a 5 m roll for economical field and bench use.
