Description
Lead(II) acetate trihydrate (Pb(CH3COO)2·3H2O) LR grade, also known as sugar of lead. Used in the preparation of lead acetate test paper for hydrogen sulfide detection, in qualitative analysis for sulfide ions, and as a precipitating agent for sulfate removal in sample preparation. UNILAB is Ajax's LR-equivalent brand. Lead compounds are toxic — handle with appropriate precautions.
