Description
Isopropyl acetate (1-methylethyl acetate, CH₃COOCH(CH₃)₂) LR grade. A fast-evaporating ester solvent used in coatings, printing inks, and adhesive formulations, and as a solvent for cellulose esters and synthetic resins. Lower toxicity than many ketone solvents makes it useful where operator exposure must be minimised. LR grade is suitable for industrial and preparative applications. Highly flammable.
