Isoamyl alcohol (3-methyl-1-butanol) AR grade. Used as an antifoaming agent in phenol-chloroform-isoamyl alcohol nucleic acid extraction, as a solvent in partition chromatography, and as a reference compound in flavour chemistry. AR grade ensures low aldehyde and water content for biochemical and analytical applications.
