Iodine ampoule for preparing 1 L of 0.05M iodine solution. Used as an oxidising titrant in iodimetric determination of reducing agents including ascorbic acid, arsenic(III), and antimony(III), and in starch-iodine indicator solution preparation. Single-use ampoule format ensures accurate, consistent solution preparation and avoids the volatility and instability associated with pre-prepared dilute iodine solutions.
