Hydroxylamine hydrochloride (NH₂OH·HCl) AR grade is a reducing agent and derivatising reagent used across a range of analytical applications. Used to reduce iron(III) to iron(II) prior to spectrophotometric determination, to form oximes with ketones and aldehydes for quantification, and as an intermediate in hydroxamic acid synthesis. AR grade ensures suitability for sensitive quantitative analysis.
