Hexane, mixed isomers (C₆H₁₄) ACS grade, ≥98.5%. A non-polar hydrocarbon solvent used in Soxhlet extraction of oils, fats, and lipids, as a mobile phase solvent in normal-phase HPLC and column chromatography, and for preparation of non-polar extraction solutions. ACS grade ensures very low non-volatile residue and low benzene content for analytical use. Highly flammable.
