Description
Hexane fraction (petroleum hexane) LR grade in plastic bottle. A mixed aliphatic solvent with a narrow boiling range (~65–70°C) used as an extraction solvent for oils and fats in Soxhlet analysis, in liquid-liquid partitioning of non-polar analytes, and as a non-polar component in normal-phase chromatography mobile phases. LR grade is suitable for routine extraction and preparative applications. Highly flammable.
