Glycerol (glycerine, propane-1,2,3-triol) LR grade. Used as a humectant and cryoprotectant in biological sample preservation, as a lubricant for laboratory stopcocks and joints, as a mounting medium in microscopy, and in preparation of glycerol solutions for density gradient centrifugation. LR grade is suitable for biological, teaching, and general laboratory applications.
