Description
D-Glucose anhydrous (dextrose, C₆H₁₂O₆) AR grade. Used as a primary carbon source in culture media preparation, as a substrate in glucose oxidase and hexokinase enzyme assays, in preparation of calibration standards for blood glucose methods, and as a reducing agent in Fehling's and Benedict's tests. AR grade ensures low heavy metal content and consistent anhydrous form for accurate gravimetric and biochemical work.
