Formaldehyde 37% aqueous solution (formalin) AR grade in HDPE plastic bottle. Used as a tissue fixative and preservative in histology, as a disinfectant, and as a reactant in condensation polymerisation. AR grade ensures low acidity and methanol content for sensitive analytical and preparative applications. Handle in a fume hood; formaldehyde vapour is toxic and a probable carcinogen.
