Description
Eriochrome Black T (EBT) indicator is a metallochromic dye used to detect the endpoint in EDTA complexometric titrations for total water hardness determination. It forms wine-red complexes with calcium and magnesium ions at pH 10, changing sharply to blue at the free-indicator endpoint. Merck Life Science grade is suitable for accurate titrimetric analysis and water quality testing.
