Description
1,5-Diphenylcarbazide is a colorimetric reagent for the spectrophotometric determination of hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)). It reacts with Cr(VI) in acidic solution to form a red-violet complex with strong absorption at 540 nm. Widely used in water and wastewater analysis for chromium determination according to standard methods (APHA, ISO). LABCHEM grade is suitable for routine analytical work.
