Citric acid monohydrate (C₆H₈O₇·H₂O) LR grade. Used in preparation of citrate buffer solutions, as an acidulant and antioxidant synergist in food and beverage applications, as a chelating agent, and in cleaning formulations for removal of scale and mineral deposits. LR grade is suitable for teaching laboratories, general preparative work, and industrial applications.
