Chromium trioxide (CrO₃) LR grade. Used in preparation of chromic acid cleaning solution for laboratory glassware and in oxidative synthesis. LR grade is suitable for preparative and cleaning applications where the higher purity of AR grade is not required. Cr(VI) compounds are highly toxic and carcinogenic — handle with full PPE in a fume hood.
