Description
Chromium trioxide (CrO₃) AR grade. A powerful oxidising agent used in preparation of chromic acid cleaning solution for laboratory glassware, in chromium AAS and ICP calibration standard preparation by dissolution in water, and in organic synthesis for oxidation of alcohols. Cr(VI) compounds are highly toxic and carcinogenic — handle with full PPE in a fume hood. AR grade ensures high CrO₃ content for analytical preparations.
