Description
Chloroform (trichloromethane, CHCl3) AR grade in glass bottle. UNIVAR is Ajax's AR-equivalent brand. Used as a solvent for lipid and alkaloid extraction, in liquid-liquid partitioning of organic compounds, and as a diluent in NMR sample preparation. AR grade ensures low impurity levels for spectroscopic and chromatographic applications. Chloroform is a suspected carcinogen — use in a fume cupboard with appropriate PPE.
