Description
Boric acid (H3BO3) AR grade in granular form. Used as the receiver acid in the Kjeldahl nitrogen distillation method (boric acid receiver procedure), in preparation of borate buffer solutions (pH 7.8–10.0), and as a flux for mineralisation of silicate minerals. Also used in water sample preservation and in preparation of boron calibration standards for AAS. AR grade ensures low sulfate and chloride content.
