Benzyl alcohol LR grade is an aromatic alcohol used as a solvent for resins, cellulose esters, and oils, and as a preservative in pharmaceutical preparations. In microscopy, it is used as an immersion medium and clearing agent for tissue specimens. Supplied in a 2.5 L glass bottle.
