Description
Ammonia solution (NH3 aq.) 25% w/w AR grade. Used as a base in acid-base titrimetry, in preparation of pH 10 ammonia-ammonium chloride buffer for EDTA complexometric titrations, in Kjeldahl nitrogen distillation, and for precipitation of metal hydroxides in qualitative analysis. AR grade ensures very low heavy metal and carbonate content. Pungent and corrosive — use in a fume cupboard.
