Description
Acetic acid glacial (CH3COOH, ~100%) AR grade, in plastic drum format for high-volume use. Used as a solvent and reagent in organic synthesis, in preparation of acetate buffer solutions (pH 3.6–5.6), as a reversed-phase HPLC mobile phase modifier, and in Karl Fischer water determination. AR grade ensures very low water content and low heavy metal levels. Corrosive — use in a fume cupboard with appropriate PPE.
